DeepOcean provide project management, operational planning, engineering, mobilisation/ demobilisation, ROV vessel, offshore crew and have the overall responsibility of the operations.
DeepOcean operates spreads providing survey and inspection to both oil companies and main contractors. DeepOcean is a market leader within this segment. This has come about through the use of the most up to date technologies and the experience of DeepOcean personnel. DeepOcean owns and operates a modern fleet of survey and inspection ROV systems. They are specifically developed for cost-effective and reliable underwater inspections and survey of the highest quality.
Visual inspection of oil and gas pipelines is a significant part of the scope in this segment. Many of the ROV systems are installed on the company’s own support vessels as permanent fixtures. All are provided with custom built, heavy duty Launch & Recovery Systems (LARS) to optimize safe handling in harsh conditions. Pipeline inspection is carried out at high speed wherever possible using the most recently developed data acquisition, recording and processing technology, including multi-beam echo sounders, pipe trackers and video.
Oil and construction companies are dependent on detailed seabed soil and bathymetry data in order to perform detailed engineering for template, platform installations, pipeline routes etc. DeepOcean has an extensive track record in all aspects of seabed mapping using vessel mounted, ROV deployed and towed sensors in water depths ranging from 10 to 2,300 meter sea water(msw) This service is a key element in allowing the company to offer a ‘cradle to grave’ service on cable & pipeline installations projects.
DeepOcean’s portfolio of specialised support vessels, modern equipment and dedicated, skilled personnel makes the company an attractive partner for subsea construction support. The company’s resources can add value to pre-installations route and site surveys, spool metrology requirements, and pipe/cable/umbilical tie-in operations using ROV and Module Handling technologies.
In 2013 DeepOcean acquired a 50% interest in ADUS to form ADUS DeepOcean Ltd. ADUS DeepOcean stunning subsea 3D visualisations can be used to provide high quality 3D images of subsea structures such as offshore facilities, wind turbine foundations and seabed architecture.
