How we respond to a cable fault?

When a cable fails, a clear, rehearsed process is what turns downtime into a defined, manageable event - mobilising fast and returning your asset to service safely.

Step 1. Locate the fault

We rapidly mobilise an offshore team to localise the fault while preparing the onshore project team in parallel, ensuring no time is lost on the critical path.

Step 2. Mobilise

Mobilise Repair spread pre-engineered in advance, with vessels and critical spares identified for rapid mobilisationwhen a fault occurs.​

Step 3. Recover and repair

The damaged section is cut and recovered to deck, then jointed in a controlled, enclosed jointing habitat by our specialist teams.

Step 4. Test and reinstate

Electrical integrity is verified before the repaired cable is laid back, reburied and protected, returning the asset to service.
